Veggie Boxes

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. The members invest in their produce before planting begins, ensuring they receive a certain amount of veggies throughout the season. These CSA shares are picked up on Saturdays at our partner location, Mima Market in Miami Shores.

There are plenty of reasons to join a CSA, which range from simply enjoying fresh organic food, to wanting to minimize your impact on the environment.

Farmer's Pick CSA

A traditional weekly CSA Share, where you get 5-8 different types of vegetables per week, based on what is available on the farm. You won't know what you're getting until you receive the box. Some vegetables will repeat from week to week - so make sure you are ok with this!

Members will receive a handmade wooden box with mesh bags for the produce. One box and a few mesh bags need to be returned weekly per members, so we can refill them for you.

Fall Share: 10 weeks starting in November, ending in January

Spring Share: 10 weeks starting in February, ending in April

This option is $35/ week + $15 for the packaging materials : $365 per season

(check out our store to purchase your share!)

No shows for pickups/deliveries are not refunded.

Pick up will be Saturdays at Mima Market, after noon.

Micro Share CSA

A smaller version of a CSA, focusing on greens and herbs. Each week you will receive two bunches of greens + 1 bunch of a surprise herb.

You will almost always get one bunch of kale!

Herbs can be: lemongrass, stevia, thyme, rosemary, garlic chives, tilo, mint, amongst others! You won't know what you're getting until you receive the box.

Members will receive mesh bags for their produce, which they should bring back weekly to be refilled.

Volunteering for a share

We understand that not everyone can afford to spend a part of their income on the CSA, so we are offering volunteer opportunities in exchange for shares!

Please get in contact with us to talk about setting up a schedule.

Must volunteer for 3-4 hours x week on scheduled volunteer days

Volunteers will harvest their own share as part of their weekly volunteer hours :)

Our 2020 commitment to a ZERO WASTE CSA

For our Fall 2020 CSA and our Spring 2021 CSA, we will be providing our members' wooden CSA boxes. Each member will have 2 boxes throughout the season, which they will have to swap out weekly. Give us an empty box, and we give you a full box in exchange! In addition to that, the produce will be bagged in reusable mesh bags. Members get to keep these mesh bags after the season is over :)
